  Marvel Female Lead I want to set the record straight. While Black Widow is the most anticipated Marvel movie with a female lead and Captain Marvel was the first MCU female lead movie, the internet is wrong. The first Marvel female lead superhero movie was the 2005 Electra movie with Jennifer Garner. A full 14 years prior to Captain Marvel.
